Statement Re Border Patrol Operations in North Carolina
The uncertainty of the presence of Border Patrol and ICE is not good for anyone, and I am hopeful that we will receive some clarity on the ICE operations in our community. The reason I supported recent legislation was to help ICE to take custody of detained criminals at the jail, which is safer for our communities.
